By creating a profile or scanning a QR code, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Use of the Service

• Users must provide accurate and up-to-date medical emergency information when creating and updating an account/profile.


• Profiles are intended for use in emergency situations to provide healthcare professionals with critical medical information.


• The QR-coded profile should be used by the User (e.g., on a sticker, card, or product provided by the business) and be readily accessible during emergencies.

Medical Information Disclaimer

• The information provided in a profile is submitted by the User or their authorized representative.


• RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of this information.


• The service does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Users should consult their healthcare providers for any medical conditions or changes in their medical status.

Privacy and Data Protection

• The company is committed to protecting users' personal information and adheres to data protection regulations.


• By creating a profile, users consent to the storage, processing, and accessing of their medical emergency data for the purposes outlined in this agreement.


• Personal and medical data will only be accessible via the QR code and through secure systems.


• Only authorized personnel, such as healthcare providers or emergency responders, are intended to access this information; however, Samaritans may also scan the profile to assist in emergency situations.

Data Security

RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD uses industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect users' information.
While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security due to the nature of online data transmission.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for ensuring their information is accurate and up-to-date. Users should notify the company immediately if they believe their profile has been accessed without authorization or if they wish to deactivate their profile.

Limitations of Liability

• RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD is not liable for any incorrect medical decisions made based on the information provided in the QR-coded profile.
• The company is not responsible for the failure of emergency responders or healthcare providers to access or use the QR code.
• RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD shall not be held responsible for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the use or inability to use the service.

Termination of Service

• Users may request to deactivate or delete their account/profile by contacting customer support at support@resqrid.co.za
• RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for violations of these terms or any applicable law.

Amendments to Terms

RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes.

Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

The emergency contact information, including private emergency service details, entered by users on our platform is entirely voluntary and initiated by the user. RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD does not provide or initiate the inclusion of any emergency service contact information. User-Entered Data: Any emergency services contact details listed on your profile are entered solely by you, the user, at your discretion. We do not verify or validate the accuracy of this data.

No Responsibility for Services: RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD is not affiliated with, nor does it endorse or guarantee the services of, any emergency service provider that you enter into your profile. All services provided by third-party emergency providers are outside the control of RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD.

Fees and Charges: Any fees, charges, or costs incurred as a result of services provided by emergency service providers are your responsibility. RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD does not bear any responsibility for any fees or charges associated with emergency services.

Consent to Share Data: By entering emergency service information, you consent to sharing this data with emergency responders or relevant parties in the event of an emergency.

Data Privacy: We handle your emergency contact information in compliance with applicable privacy laws, ensuring your data is stored securely and used only for the purpose of facilitating emergency assistance.

Limitations of Liability: RESQR'ID (PTY) LTD is not liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from the use of emergency services or the actions of third-party providers. This includes, but is not limited to, delays in service, incorrect service provided, or any fees charged by third-party providers.
